Wilson comments on her time serving Bellefontaine City Schools:

During the Committee of the Whole section of the meeting, Superintendent Hall discussed the recent Staff Survey results with the board.

Many of the surveys indicated that the changes adopted by the board seem to be seeing positive results.

Hall said he hopes to make the survey a regular fixture.

Hall also presented a supplemental appropriation resolution to the board that would provide for current and other expenditures for the current fiscal year.

In Superintendent Hall’s report, he proposed several personnel appointments, including 51 substitute teachers for the second semester.

Hall said that the board is required to appoint qualified substitutes for each semester.

The appointments included the following:

  • Professional Personnel – Home Instruction/Tutors
    • Trista Denbow and Jayden Sims
  • Service and Support Personnel – Resignations
    • Haiden Manns, Educational Aide

Adelsberger will replace outgoing and longtime Hi-Point and BCS Board member Anne Reames, who recently announced her retirement.

Hall discusses the impact Reames has had on both boards:
