On Friday night, Bellefontaine’s Main Street came alive excitedly as locals gathered for the 2024 Hometown Christmas Parade.

Several thousand people filled the streets to enjoy the festive event, with children eagerly awaiting their chance to see Santa Claus.

Families strolled through downtown Bellefontaine, enjoying holiday activities along the way.

The event, organized by the Downtown Business Partnership’s First Fridays, featured free crafts, food trucks, hot chocolate, and candy for everyone.

At 6:00 PM, the parade kicked off, starting at the fairgrounds and making its way up Main Street.

Nearly 60 entries took part, including marching bands, colorful floats, and, of course, Santa Claus.

At the conclusion, Santa himself lit a special Christmas Tree on the courthouse lawn.
