Bellefontaine High School will present its annual spring musical this weekend.
BHS will present Newsies on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 PM in the high school auditorium.

The story is about Jack Kelly and the New York Newsies going on strike after Joseph Pulitzer, owner of The World Newspaper increases the cost of selling papers, thereby creating undue hardship on the kid workers of New York City. A female journalist, Katherine Plummer, takes heart to these newsies and assists them in their strike until a compromise is finally achieved.

The large cast has been rehearsing since December.
BHS Director Brice Henry said, “This cast is full of talent that has grown and developed over the course of the rehearsals. They continue to improve and perfect what is sure to be a thoroughly entertaining production.”
Brian Timpe is the assistant director.
