Sunday afternoon, Joplyn Blosser, 22, of Bellefontaine, was arrested following a domestic disturbance on Orchard Avenue in Bellefontaine.
Just before 3:30 PM, police officers responded to reports of a female screaming and an alleged assault.
Upon arrival, officers found Blosser on the porch.
She reported being punched in the neck during the incident with two men.
Medics were called to the scene after officers noticed Blosser might be under the influence of drugs.
A search of her belongings revealed syringes, leading to charges for possession of drug abuse instruments.
During transport to the hospital, Blosser became disorderly and resisted arrest, leading to additional charges including assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.
Blosser was taken to Logan County Jail, where she was restrained and lodged.
Witnesses at the scene disputed the assault claims, stating no attack occurred and describing Blosser’s behavior as erratic.
