Bellefontaine City crews will be collecting leaves in the southwest sector on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Residents are asked to place leaves near the curb or in boulevards, but not in the street, and to avoid parking in front of leaf piles to ensure safe and efficient collection.
Only leaves will be collected.
Bags, brush, and other trash will not be picked up, and regular refuse service cannot handle leaf collection.
City officials also remind residents that, by law, yard debris cannot be placed in streets or alleys.
Following these guidelines will help crews complete collection safely and on schedule.
