According to the Bellefontaine Police Department, Ethan Gilmore, 24, of Bellefontaine, was arrested on Tuesday after an investigation in coordination with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force.
The investigation began after a complaint was filed with the agency regarding Gilmore’s online activities.
Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant, seizing several items of evidence during the process.
Gilmore was arrested and taken to the Logan County Jail.
He faces multiple criminal charges, including disseminating matter harmful to juveniles/pandering obscenity involving a minor, and creating, producing/ publishing obscene material.
This case remains under investigation.
