The Bellefontaine man who was found unconscious in his home last Wednesday during a fire has died.
Authorities say Richard Banks died on Sunday from the injuries sustained in the fire.
He was found unresponsive when firefighters came to extinguish a fire in the kitchen of his mobile home on Garfield Avenue.
He was originally taken to Mary Rutan Hospital before being transferred to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center after suffering second-degree burns to his back and legs.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
