The Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District Board of Trustees met in regular session Monday night.
This weekend, 108 baseball teams will compete in tournaments at 11 fields within the city. The tournament kicks off Friday afternoon and will run through Sunday evening. Superintendent Kris Myers talks more about the event:
After a $3,000 repair to the pool’s liner, Hoffman Pool opened last week and has been busy since day one. Myers shared an update:
Myers went on to update the trustees on the wrap-up of several programs including city baseball, softball, and Jr. track by the end of the month. A tennis camp will take place next week. Soccer and football signups are currently underway. You can see more details and sign your child up HERE.
Myers commended the crew at the cemetery for having the grounds looking top-notch for the recent Memorial Day festivities.
Lastly, Myers informed the trustees that Recreation Coordinator, Tim Hales, has resigned:
