Bellefontaine Police were busy Tuesday responding to a string of traffic crashes across the city.
Fortunately, none resulted in serious injuries.
The first incident occurred just after 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Washington Avenue.
Patricia Fanaff, 47, of Bellefontaine, was heading south on South Main in a 2022 Honda Ridgeline and tried to turn east onto Washington Avenue.
She failed to yield and collided with a 2014 Ford Mustang driven by Jessie Bowsher, 41, also of Bellefontaine, who was in the outside lane approaching the intersection.
Fanaff was cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning left.
She was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS with suspected minor injuries.
Bowsher was not injured.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a crash at West Sandusky Avenue and County Road 32.
Casey Eagy, 57, of Maplewood, was stopped at a red light in a 2016 Dodge pickup when he was struck by a motorcycle.
Ashley Ryan, 34, of DeGraff, was operating a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on County Road 32 and made a wide right turn, striking the rear left side of Eagy’s vehicle.
The motorcycle tipped onto its side, but no injuries were reported.
Ryan was cited for improper turning at an intersection.
Just after 5:00 p.m., police were called back to West Sandusky Avenue for another rear-end collision.
Sonya Eaton, 54, of Lewistown, had stopped her 2014 Honda Accord for a yellow light when she was struck from behind by a 2008 Acura driven by James Gibson, 33, of Marion.
Gibson was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
No injuries were reported in this crash either.
All three incidents remain under review by the Bellefontaine Police Department.
