Bellefontaine High School hosted eight schools on Monday for the regular season finale of the Hancock-Hardin-Logan Quiz Bowl League.
The Chieftain Quizzers closed out the night with a perfect 2–0 record, earning wins over Arlington and Heritage Christian.
In the first match, Bellefontaine defeated Arlington 320–200.
Jake Moreland led the scoring with 50 points, followed by Ethan Reynolds with 35, Clara Core with 30, and Brendan Murray with 10.
Bellefontaine continued its momentum in the second match, topping Heritage Christian 360–185.
This time, Reynolds led the team with 65 points.
Moreland contributed 40, while Core and Darby Patton each added 15.
The Chieftains finish the regular season at 3–5 and will compete for a national qualification opportunity on January 10th in Kenton.
They will begin CBC play in 2026.
