On Monday at noon, members of the Bellefontaine Rotary Club #3617 were invited to Benjamin Logan High School for a festive holiday concert performed by the school’s Jazz Band.

Directed by Myles Bowers, the talented group of 25 students, who rehearse daily during class, treated the audience to a variety of holiday classics, including a special rendition of “Let It Snow” performed by senior Greyson Wagoner.

The meeting also welcomed 1987 Benjamin Logan alum Greta Batton, a member of the Beavercreek Rotary Club, who spoke about the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program.

The program is a hands-on leadership development opportunity designed to empower high school students through learning and community service.
