The Bellefontaine Rotary Club hosted its inaugural Trivia Night fundraiser on Wednesday evening at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, drawing 11 spirited teams for a night of brainpower, community, and fun.
Teams faced off in a friendly competition across a variety of trivia categories, including music, Logan County history, the Bible, and more.
The event wasn’t just about fun and facts—it raised funds for future scholarships benefiting Logan County students, with proceeds going toward awards set to be distributed in 2026.
Emerging victorious were the V-Teck Vigilantes, a four-person team made up of Gary Kauffman, Brad Salmon, Bob Shaw, and Todd McCormick—who represented the Logan County History Center.
Despite being the smallest team in the room (most others had five members), the Vigilantes outsmarted the competition to take home medals—and serious bragging rights.
Previously hosted by the AAUW, the trivia event has now been taken over by the Rotary Club, with plans to make it an annual tradition.
Next year’s trivia night is already scheduled for the second week of March, and organizers are encouraging teams to mark their calendars and come prepared to try and dethrone the reigning champions.
