A team of students from Bellefontaine High School is headed to the national stage after earning top recognition in a competitive business program.

Junior Achievement announced that the school’s JA Titan Challenge team, known as The Bellefontaine Businessmen, has been selected as one of just 15 teams nationwide to compete in the National JA Titan Challenge.

The team earned the honor following a strong showing at the regional competition.

As part of the national selection process, students submitted a detailed report to JA USA outlining their approach to running a simulated business.

In their submission, the team explained how they managed and grew their company, made key financial and operational decisions, and adjusted their strategy as market conditions changed throughout the competition.

The JA Titan Challenge places students in charge of a virtual smartphone manufacturing company, where they must make real-time decisions involving pricing, production, marketing, and finances.

The competition is designed to build skills in teamwork, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and strategic thinking.

Program leaders say the Bellefontaine team stood out for its ability to analyze data, adapt to challenges, and clearly explain its decision-making process.
