Over 30 students and staff from Bellefontaine High School volunteered at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon on Sunday.

The event, known as “America’s Most Meaningful Marathon,” raises money for pediatric care and research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Despite windy and rainy conditions, more than 15,000 runners and numerous volunteers came together to support the marathon.

BHS volunteers helped with recycling, picking up trash, and handing out snacks to participants.

Bellefontaine City Schools has been sending volunteers to the Columbus Marathon since 2013.
