UPDATE: Main Street in Bellefontaine is now open for traffic.

South Main Street in Downtown Bellefontaine, between Auburn Avenue and the Logan County Board of Elections, is closed Monday for a water service line replacement.
Crews are asking motorists to avoid the area and use an alternate route while they complete the work.
No estimated time for reopening has been provided at this time.
