Officers from the Bellefontaine Police Department were dispatched to Heritage Court Apartments regarding an intoxicated individual Friday morning around 1:00.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim and a witness.
The victim explained that he and Victoria Feasel, 25, had gotten into a physical altercation.
He explained that she was intoxicated and had struck him in the face earlier in the night, and also pushed him down when he was holding an infant.
The witness confirmed that Feasel had struck the victim, and she had been making threats to harm herself with a kitchen knife.
Feasel told officials she was not actively having suicidal thoughts.
When officers asked what caused Feasel to push the victim, she said was angry with him.
The witness told officers that the victim had tried to walk out the door with an infant in his arms.
Feasel then grabbed him and pulled him back inside, causing him to fall, and the child hit their head on the door.
The victim said that Feasel pushed him because she wanted to give the child chewing gum, and he did not want the child to have it because “the sugar would make him stay up all night”.
There were noticeable red marks on the victim’s cheek and scratches on his elbow.
The victim claimed that there were no injuries caused to the infant and did not feel a medical squad needed to respond.
Feasel was placed under arrest for domestic violence and child endangering.
She was transported to the Logan County Jail.
This report will be forwarded to children’s services for their review.
