Thursday, Benjamin Logan High School Band Director Myles Bowers joined a select group of band directors from across the country for a special performance during the Tournament of Roses festivities.
Bowers performed with the first-ever Salute to America’s Band Directors Jazz Band at the Band Directors Brunch held at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena.
Photographs from the event highlight the jazz band’s trumpet section, with Bowers featured alongside his fellow directors.
The Rose Parade aired on ABC and NBC, gave viewers across the country a chance to see the performance.
Bowers’ participation marks a notable honor for Benjamin Logan High School, celebrating both his leadership and the school’s music program on a national stage.
