Students from Benjamin Logan High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter attended the 2026 BPA National Leadership Conference in Nashville last week.
The chapter was recognized with the Membership Explosion Award for increasing its membership by 30% from last year.
The conference brought together an estimated six thousand delegates from across the country to vie for top honors in business and information technology skills competitions, attend leadership and professional development workshops, receive awards for community service activities, and elect BPA’s 2026–27 national student leadership team.
“The National Leadership Conference is more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of dedication, growth, and achievement,” said Patrick Schultz, BPA’s Executive Director. “We are thrilled to bring together BPA’s best and brightest to showcase their talents, build lifelong connections, and take the next steps in their leadership and career journeys.”
The students who attended the conference were:

- Kaidyn Green – Fundamental Accounting Participant
- Keaten Varner – Advanced Accounting Participant
- Caroline Spriggs – Leadership Academy Participant
- Junah Tingley – Presentation Individual Participant
Advisor Mandi Wood states, “I am proud of our students for earning the opportunity to compete at the national level through Business Professionals of America. Their preparation and hard work, both in and out of the classroom, paid off. Qualifying for NLC is a tremendous accomplishment, and I am proud to recognize these students for representing our school with professionalism.”
While in Nashville, students networked with other BPA members and business leaders, toured the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, attended a performance at the Grand Ole Opry, and explored the shops of Downtown Nashville.
Business Professionals of America (BPA) is the premier Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for middle, high school, and college/university students preparing for careers in business and information technology.
