Benjamin Logan Schools capped off an exciting week of spirit and celebration by crowning Talan Archer and Kelley Forsythe as the 2024 Snowball King and Queen during Friday night’s game.
The Student Government featured themed dress-up days such as Snowy Day, Family Christmas Photo, Winter Wonderland, and Walking Through the North Pole, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the week.
The Snowball Court included representatives from each grade:
Freshmen: Belen Palmer & Hunter Zoldak
Sophomores: Kylie Harner & Dillion Brown
Juniors: Evelyn Allen & Blake Zoldak
Seniors: Estella Wenger, Kelley Forsythe, Sidney Sallee, Micah Ackley, Carter Yoder, & Talan Archer
Even a surprise snow day on Friday couldn’t stop the fun leading up to the big announcement! The crowning moment was even more special as the 2023 Homecoming Queen and King, Mia Stahler, and Landon Stoodt, had the honor of presenting the crowns. Mia and Landon, both highly accomplished students, represent the heart of Raider Nation through their leadership, athletic achievements, and community involvement.
The crowd cheered as honorary teachers escorted the court, and the King and Queen were crowned in a memorable ceremony.
Congratulations to Talan Archer, Kelley Forsythe, and all of the Snowball Court and Student Government for making this event a night to remember. Raider Nation’s spirit shined bright!
The Winter Wonderland Snowball Dance is on Saturday at BLHS from 7 to 10 PM. The Winter Formal is hosted by the Student Government.
