Benjamin Logan Drum Majors Tyler Barnes and Bella Lowe recently completed a four-day Spark Summer Clinic at Wittenberg University.
Students worked on both section-specific skills and techniques while developing leadership concepts to take back and apply to their marching band programs at home.
As Drum Majors, the students focused on conducting and score study fundamentals, utilized opportunities to conduct live musicians, practiced giving music/visual feedback, and gained leadership and communication skills.
Barnes and Lowe are both juniors at Benjamin Logan High School.
