School activities and awards: Football, Track, National Honor Society, FCA, CBC Athlete of the Month, and Honda Achievement Breakfast for Government.
If I were principal for a day: I’d have mandatory nap time followed by graham cracker snacks.
Favorite School Memory: Dressing up as Pitbull (the rapper).
People who have been an inspiration to me include: Pitbull, because he’s been there and done that.
Lately, I have been reading: Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons.
My advice to parents: Let your kid have a great high school experience and let them branch out and find their interests.
My biggest regret: Not moving to Ben Logan sooner.
Next year I will be: Hopefully enlisted in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic.
Name: Alyson Fay
Parents: Jeff and Andrea Fay
School activities and awards: National Honor Society, ROC, Spanish Club, Spanish National Honor Society, Class Treasurer, Student Government Treasurer, Yearbook, Relay, ROOTS, Cross Country, Track, and College Board’s National Rural and Small Town Recognition.
If I were principal for a day: I’d have music playing in the hallways between classes.
Favorite school memory: The entirety of sophomore biology class with Lee.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: Mr. Reames, Mrs. Kavanagh, and Mom.
Lately, I have been reading: All for the Game trilogy by Nora Sakavic and Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston.
My advice to parents: It’s fine. I’ll drive eventually.
My biggest regret: Focusing so heavily on academics and missing out on the social aspects.
Next year I will be: Studying bioengineering at the University of Toledo or ONU.
