The Benjamin Logan High School Quiz Bowl team recently competed in the 2025 NAQT Small School National Championship Tournament, held April 25–27 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago.

The team performed very well, finishing 21st out of 88 teams from across the country.

They advanced to the playoff rounds after earning a 7-3 record on the first day of the competition.

One of their most exciting matches was a close game against the team that went on to win the entire tournament.

In the playoffs, Benjamin Logan faced tough teams from Macomb, Illinois, and Gwinn, Michigan.

Senior Tristan Sheets, as an individual, placed 7th out of 520 students in total points.

He was named an NAQT Traditional Public All-Star, which is a special honor for top-performing players.

Sheets also became the all-time points leader in Benjamin Logan Quiz Bowl history — a major achievement.
