The Benjamin Logan High School Quiz Bowl team competed in the NAQT State Championships at Bellefontaine High School on Saturday, March 29th.
The team placed 8th out of 48 schools from across Ohio and earned 2nd place in the Small School category, recognizing them as one of the top teams from smaller schools in the state.
Senior Tristan Sheets led the team, finishing 6th in individual points for the tournament.
He was supported by seniors Kameron Lockwood, Hunter Andrix, and Carter Yoder, as well as sophomore Junah Tingley and freshman Michael Berry, all who contributed to the team’s strong performance.
The team is now preparing for the NAQT Small School National Championship in Rosemont, IL, at the end of April, which will wrap up their season.
They are coached by Michael Kettler.
