Benjamin Logan raises over $38,000 for the Logan County Cancer Society

On Thursday, May 18, Benjamin Logan Middle School hosted its 10th annual Rally for a Cure. This year’s theme was “Peace Out, Cancer!” BLMS students and staff raised an astounding total of $26,016.00 for the Logan County Cancer Society. Students had a wonderful day outdoors playing games, walking laps, and enjoying time with their friends.

On May 10, Benjamin Logan High School held their annual Raider Relay, which raised $12,370 for a combined grand total of $38,386.00 to support residents of Logan County who have cancer or a cancer-related illness.

Benjamin Logan Director of Administrative Services, Sally Stolly shared, “We are so proud of our students, staff, and community for their generous contributions to assist cancer sufferers with related expenses such as medications and supplies, wigs, and travel expenses. Knowing that our Raider community is so dedicated to helping others and being positive contributors to society makes Benjamin Logan a special place to be.”
