Benjamin Logan Schools is delighted to announce that seven of our outstanding seniors have been awarded the prestigious Governor’s Merit Scholarship (GMS) for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The scholarship program, designed to encourage Ohio’s top students to continue their education within the state, recognizes students who are in the top 5% of their graduating class.
The GMS provides up to $5,000 in financial assistance annually and is renewable for up to four years of full-time college instruction.
Importantly, the scholarship covers not just tuition and fees but can also be applied towards books, equipment, room and board, and transportation up to the college’s published Cost of Attendance.
This year’s recipients from Benjamin Logan High School, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement and leadership, include:
- Hunter Andrix
- Robert Blackburn
- Kelley Forsythe
- Kameron Lockwood
- Addison Scott
- Tristan Sheets
- Dylan Vance
“These students have consistently demonstrated high academic performance and exemplary character throughout their time at Benjamin Logan,” said Sally Stolly, Director of Administrative Services at Benjamin Logan Schools. “We are immensely proud of their accomplishments and confident that the GMS will help them continue their educational journeys with fewer financial burdens.”
Benjamin Logan Schools extends heartfelt congratulations to these scholars and their families.
We also express our gratitude to the Governor’s Office and the scholarship committee for continuing to invest in the future of Ohio’s students.
