The Benjamin Logan Raider Quiz Bowl team finished their fall season Monday night at Bellefontaine High School by winning the first-ever Hardin–Hancock–Logan League championship.
Both Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake were undefeated in league play, but only one team could finish first.
The Raiders beat the Lakers 405–275 to stay undefeated this season.
Junior Junah Tingley led the team with 70 points, and sophomore Michael Berry added 55 points.
Seniors Winnie Bodin and Ethan Van Winkle also scored important points. Sophomore Lottie Bodin and freshman Laurel Smith helped the team throughout the night.
Next, the Raiders will compete in the HHL League Tournament at Kenton High School in January and continue their success in the Central Buckeye Conference Quiz Bowl League, where they have been champions every year since 2017.
