Academic success led to sweet treats for hundreds of Bellefontaine High School students this month.
BHS recently hosted its Sweet Rewards ceremony in the main gym.
The Bellefontaine High School Academic Boosters Club recognized freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors for earning a 3.0 grade point average or higher in the first semester.
Approximately 400 students were honored with sweet rewards, including donuts, cookies, milk, and water.
BHS students then played The Price is Right in their quest to take home prizes.
Several community members and businesses donated items.
BHS Principal Cliff Core emceed Sweet Rewards.
Mr. Core praised the students for their commitment to academic excellence.
Four moms from the Academic Boosters Club served as the chairpersons of the event.
The spring awards ceremony will be held on May 2nd in the high school auditorium.
