Eight Bellefontaine High School students participated in the DECA State Competition in Columbus last weekend.

Senior Zach Horvath won the state title in the Business Growth Plan event with his LLC Horvath Productions.

With his 1st-place finish, Horvath qualified for the national competition that will take place in Orlando, Florida, on April 22nd-25th.

The duo of Marco Martinez & Alex Miller finished 7th in the state in the Sports & Entertainment Team Decision-Making event.

Seniors Keagon Overton-Story, Lily Palmer, and Maddie Williams will represent BHS at the Ignite Leadership Academy in Orlando. This coincides with the national competition.

Horvath, Overton-Story, Palmer, and Williams need to raise funds for their trip to Florida. The total cost for the students to attend will be approximately $7,500.
