Bellefontaine High School hosted the annual Ohio State Quiz Bowl Championship on Saturday.
There were 64 teams from all across the state – making this one of the largest state academic competitions in the nation.
Teams competed for the overall championship, small school championship, and very small school championship.
Cincinnati St. Xavier went undefeated to win the overall championship.
Toledo Ottawa Hills captured the small school state championship.
Pandora-Gilboa won the very small school championship for the third year in a row.
The Bellefontaine A team went 3-2 during the morning session and qualified for the first consolation bracket. The team finished 32nd overall.
The Bellefontaine B team finished 2-8.

Bellefontaine is planning to host the Ohio State Quiz Bowl Championship in ’27.
