The BHS Quiz Bowl team had a stellar showing at Shawnee on Monday night, going 3-0 in their competition.
In the opening match, the Chiefs dominated Shawnee with a 245-90 victory.
Jeff Smith led the team with 55 points, while Caitlin Haley contributed 25, Nolan Core added 20, and Clara Core chipped in 15.
The Chiefs continued their winning streak in the second match, overcoming Jonathan Alder 275-140.
Once again, Jeff Smith was the team’s top scorer with 55 points, followed by Nolan Core with 35 and Claire Grandstaff with 15.
In the final match of the night, Bellefontaine defeated Jonathan Alder 255-125.
Jeff Smith was the highest scorer in this match with 80 points, with Nolan Core and Clara Core contributing 10 and 5 points, respectively.
With the victories, the Chiefs now boast an impressive 8-3 record.
The team will wrap up CBC play at Bellefontaine on March 10.
