The Bellefontaine High School Quiz Bowl team traveled to Ridgemont on Monday night.
The team competed strongly, but lost both matches.
In the first match, the Chieftain Quizzers fell to Benjamin Logan 440-240.
Ethan Reynolds led the team in scoring with 75 points.
Clara Core contributed 30 points.
In the second match, Bellefontaine’s comeback fell just short on the last question.
The Chiefs lost to Ridgemont 265-245.
Ethan Reynolds led all scorers with 80 points. Darby Patton recorded 25 points, and Clara Core added 20 points.
The team is 1-5 on the season.
BHS will host a match on December 2nd.
