The Bellefontaine High School Quiz Bowl team opened league play at Indian Lake Wednesday night.
Both schools compete in the Hancock-Hardin-Logan (HHL) League.
In the first match, Bellefontaine lost to Indian Lake 280-165.
Ethan Reynolds led the Chiefs with 60 points.
Landon Severt scored 10 points, and Clara Core added 5 points.
In the second match, Bellefontaine beat Indian Lake 315-210.
Ethan Reynolds had 85 points, Clara Core recorded 30 points, and Landon Severt tallied 20 points.
Leo Reser-Stanford and Owen Peak contributed on bonus questions. Peak delivered in the clutch with a mathematical calculation.
