The Bellefontaine High School Quiz Bowl Team improved its record to 9-1 after defeating Urbana and Indian Lake Thursday night at Indian Lake.
In the first match of the evening, the Chieftains defeated the Hillclimbers 375-50.
Leading the team in scoring was Jeff Smith with 70 points.
Oliver Moreland added 65 and Nolan Core added 20.
In the second match, the Chieftains defeated the Lakers 295-105.
Leading the Chiefs in scoring were Nolan Core with 55 and Oliver Moreland with 50.
The Chieftain Quiz Bowl concludes its CBC league season next Monday against 10-0 Benjamin Logan.
