Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence last night on South Main Street in Ridgeway.

Deputies say 26-year-old Dakota Skirvin, of Blacklick, OH, busted into his sister’s Ridgeway home where he and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Alexis Herman, were living and hit his sister several times in the face and arms.

The victim reports she allowed her brother to live with them this past week while he starts a new job in the area. When she woke yesterday to find her home a mess, she told Herman they were no longer welcome and had until night to find a new place to live.

Herman messaged Skirvan at work to let him know what was going on. He then left work and went to the home.

Skirvan told deputies he was worried for his girlfriend’s safety, so he busted into the door and forced his way through his sister to find Herman. Deputies report the victim had a red and swollen eye, a busted bottom lip, and bruising on her arm.

Skirvan was arrested for domestic violence and assault. He was lodged in Logan County Jail.
