Music Rings in 2024 at the Holland

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – The Holland Theatre is set to kick off the new year with three exciting shows for all musical tastes.

Just announced is Corey Harris and Cedric Watson: True Blues on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 7:30 p.m. Join two of roots music’s most acclaimed voices on a journey through the blues.

Next up is An Evening with Darin & Brooke Aldridge on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 7:30 p.m. Favorites at the Grand Ole Opry, the Aldridges share harmony-filled bluegrass and gospel.

Finally, Dallas String Quartet takes the stage on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m., with Strings Unleashed. Not your typical string quartet concert, this show features electric covers of classic rock hits from Led Zeppelin to Metallica to Bon Jovi.

Tickets for all shows are available at or through the box office, at 937-592-9002. Contact the box office for group discounts and youth ticket pricing.

The Holland Presents series continues in February with the hilarious Couples Therapy on Feb. 9; a free showing of the classic romance Titanic on Feb. 14; and Moana JR., starring local middle schoolers, on Feb. 16 and 17.

Season sponsors are Beasley Architecture & Design and Marker, Inc.; media sponsors are the Bellefontaine Examiner and V-Teck Communications; and season support is provided by Honda of America and Ohio Arts Council.

Built in 1931 in downtown Bellefontaine, the Holland is the nation’s only atmospheric Dutch theater. The building had fallen into disrepair in the 1990s after being converted into a cineplex but was saved from demolition when a local teacher and students took an interest in the structure. Buoyed by community support and government and private grants, the theater completed a multimillion-dollar restoration in 2019 and today is a vibrant nonprofit center for the performing arts.
