The Bellefontaine Middle School Band hosted its spring concert and awards ceremony Tuesday night in the BHS Auditorium.

6th, 7th, and 8th-grade band students performed under the direction of Heather Rivon and Ken Hoffman.

Each student was recognized for their hard work learning music this school year, plus some additional awards.

There were two special awards given to 8th graders:

The 110% Award is given to a student who is always giving an exceptional amount of effort, has a positive attitude, is putting in lots of practice time, and leads by example in the band.

Zacarah Evans received this year’s 110% Award.

The Director’s Award is given to a student who has impressive musical talent, tons of potential, and a commitment to being the best musician and leader that they can be.
