Boy, Grandstaff named BHS Seniors of the Month

Brody Boy and Claire Grandstaff have been named the Bellefontaine High School March Seniors of the Month.

 

Brody Boy is the son of Bill and Amy Boy of Bellefontaine.

School activities and awards: National Honor Society, three years in Les Fons, four years varsity football, CBC First Team Offensive Line and All-State Honorable Mention, three years varsity baseball, and two musicals.

If I were principal for a day: I would put vape detectors in the bathrooms and make lunches free.

Favorite school memory: The 2023 football playoff run.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My grandmother, parents, brothers and sisters, and Brady Hiatt. They’re always honest and supportive of me and my dreams and aspirations.

Lately I’ve been reading: The Bible and Prisoners of Geography.

My biggest regret: Not hanging out with my friends more often.

Next year: I will be attending Taylor University to study business and play football.

 

Claire Grandstaff is the daughter of Ryan and Natalie Grandstaff of Bellefontaine.

School activities and awards: Orchestra, Cross Country, Swim Team, Track, Salutatorian, Spanish National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Chieftain Leaders, and GSA Club.

If I were principal for a day: I would have a schoolwide pizza party.

Favorite school memory: Painting my senior parking spot with my friends.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My parents, teachers, and coaches.

Lately I’ve been reading: The Poppy War.

My advice to parents: Support your kids the best you can.

My biggest regret: Not befriending more upper and underclassmen.

Next year: I will be attending Miami University and majoring in psychology.
