A recent Indian Lake High School graduate received one of the highest honors in the National FFA Organization during this year’s National FFA Convention in Indianapolis on Saturday.

Annie Braig, a 2024 Indian Lake High School graduate, received her FFA American Degree, an accomplishment achieved by only about one percent of FFA members.

The American Degree recognizes members for their dedication to agriculture, leadership, community service, and success in academics and business.

Several members of the Indian Lake High School and Ohio Hi-Point FFA chapters traveled to Indianapolis for the convention, which featured awards ceremonies, speakers, and special events throughout the week.

Braig is currently attending the University of Findlay, where she is pursuing a double major in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary and Biology.
