Calvary Christian to Graduate Class of 2024

Calvary Christian School presents the Class of 2024.

Graduation will take place at Calvary Baptist Church, on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 7 PM.

This year’s class has earned more than $300,000 in scholarships.

The Calvary Class of 2024 includes:

  • Madhuri Yoanna Cook, Daughter of Eric and Domini Cook. Madhuri is graduating as a National Honor Society Member. She plans to embark on a nine-month mission trip to four different countries with the World Race Team. When she returns, she plans to attend college and would like to major in Child Psychology with a minor in Intercultures Communications. Her favorite bible verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 which says, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
  • Andrew James Eckard, Son of Scott and Kari Eckard. Andrew plans to start an apprenticeship as an electrician at IBEW Local 32 in Lima. His favorite bible verse is Romans 5:8 NIV which says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
  • Natalie Jean Frost, Daughter of Kayte and Darick Frost. Natalie plans to attend Apollo Career Center in Lima to get her license in Manicuring. Her favorite bible verse is 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 which says, “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
  • Abigail Christine Hermiller, Daughter of Brian and Jolyn Hermiller. Abigail is graduating as a National Honor Society Member and an Honors Diploma Recipient. She is the recipient of the Rotary Scholarship, Our Road to Hope Award, and the Hope Presidential Scholarship. She plans to attend Hope College in Michigan and major in Elementary Education. Her favorite bible verse is Isaiah 6:8 which says, “Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”
  • Grace Catherine LeCrone, Daughter of Amy LeCrone and Brian LeCrone. Grace plans on entering the workforce in the hope of working in a kitchen or bakery. Her favorite bible verse is Psalm 27:1 which says, “The LORD is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life– of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.”
  • Jake Adam Palmer, Son of Adam and Katie Palmer. Jake is graduating as a National Honor Society Member and an Honors Diploma Recipient. He is the recipient of the Bellefontaine Rotary Club Scholarship, Logan County Electric Cooperative Scholarship, Borra Health Science Scholarship, Mary Rutan four-year renewable scholarship, and the Millcreek Church of Christ Scholarship. Jake plans on attending Rhodes State College and majoring in Nursing. His favorite bible verse is Isaiah 40:31 which says, “They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
  • Evan Russell Patton, Son of James and Sara Patton. Evan is graduating as a National Honor Society Member and an Honors Diploma Recipient. He is the recipient of the four-year renewable Bowling Green State University scholarship, Calvary Christian School Athletic Boosters, and Calvary Christian School National Honor Society Scholarship. Evan plans to attend Bowling Green State University and major in Accounting. His favorite bible verse is Proverbs 13:4 which says, “The soul of the lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.”
  • Liliana Grace Printz, Daughter of Todd and Melissa Printz. Liliana is graduating as the class Salutatorian, a National Honor Society member, and an Honors Diploma Recipient. She is the recipient of the Calvary Christian School Key Club Scholarship, the Kiwanis Scholarship, Cedarville University Scholarship Liliana plans for to attend Cedarville University and major in AYA Language and Arts Education. Her favorite bible verse is 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 which says, “8 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9  We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 10 Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.”
  • Alexis Leigh Reames, Daughter of Jason and Andrea Keller. Alexis is graduating as a National Honor Society Member. She plans to attend Ohio State University Lima and major in Social Work and then pursue a master’s degree in Counseling. Her favorite bible verse is Psalm 73: 25-26 which says, “Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth I desire besides you. My flesh and heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
  • Alyssa Brooke Reames, Daughter of Andrea Keller and Brian Reames. Alyssa is graduating as a National Honor Society Member. She is the recipient of the Quest Federal Credit Union Scholarship. Alyssa plans to attend Ohio State University at Lima and major in Nursing. Her favorite bible verse is Isaiah 40:31 which says, “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
  • Abigail Elisa Reinhard, Daughter of Lee and Courtney Reinhard. Abigail is graduating as class Valedictorian, a National Honor Society Member, and an Honors Diploma Recipient. She is the recipient of the Calvary Christian School Athletic Boosters Scholarship, Cedarville President’s Scholar Award, Bold Leader Scholarship, Dr. Deforia Lane Kingdom Diversity Scholarship, and the Governor’s Merit Scholarship. Abigail plans to attend Cedarville University and major in AYA Comprehensive Science Education and will be playing soccer for Cedarville. Her favorite bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 which says, “For the love of Christ controls us because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.”
  • Ezekiel Grey Reynolds, Son of Trent Reynolds and Kate Szymczak. Ezekiel will be graduating as a National Honor Society Member. He plans to attend Ohio State University Lima and major in Biology, hoping to go into the medical field. His favorite bible verse is James 1:2-3 ESV which says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.”
  • Anastasia Jiselle Rogan, Daughter of Rob and Stacy Rogan. Anastasia is graduating as a National Honor Society Member and an Honors Diploma Recipient. She is the recipient of the Ohio Northern University Trustee Scholarship, Ohio Northern University Dimension Award, Ohio Northern University Polar Bear Award that renews over four years, and the Sons of the American Legion Scholarship. Anastasia plans to attend Ohio Northern University and has been accepted into the Ohio Northern University Honors Program. She plans to major in Accounting & Minor in Youth Ministry. She will also run track and field for the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears. Her favorite bible verse is Psalm 27:13-14 which says, “I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!”
  • Ruby Rachel Slemmons, Daughter of Aaron and Nikki Slemmons. Ruby is graduating as a National Honor Society Member, She is the recipient of the Pioneer Electric Cooperative Scholarship Ruby plans to attend Rhodes State College to pursue a career in Pediatric Dental Hygiene. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:6 which says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
  • Brianna Kay Thompsen, Daughter of Bjorn Thompsen and Lisa Thompsen. Brianna is the recipient of the Grand Canyon University Faculty Scholarship, the CCSC Direct Scholarship, and the Priority Registration Award. She plans to attend Grand Canyon University and major in Nursing. Her favorite bible verse is Matthew 7:12 which says, “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you.”
  • Madelyn Josephine Trittschuh, Daughter of Darrel and Bobbie Trittschuh. Madelyn is graduating as a National Honor Society Member She plans to attend Edison State Community College and major in Veterinary Technology. She is also playing volleyball for the Edison State Chargers. Her favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
  • Natalie Susanne Wish, Daughter of Jason and Kristin Wish. Natalie is graduating as a National Honor Society Member and an Honors Diploma Recipient. She is the recipient of the President’s Scholar Award, Bold Leader Scholarship, Pastor Recommendation Scholarship, and Cedarville University Founder’s Scholarship. Natalie plans to attend Cedarville University to major in Early Childhood Education and minor in Business Administration. Her favorite bible verse is Isaiah 54:10 which says, “Though the mountains be shaken, and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”
