Carter and Schindler Lodged on Drug Charges

Saturday, officers from Washington Township were on patrol and stopped Paula Carter, 57 of Bellefontaine for a license plate violation.

When they made contact with Carter, a methamphetamine pipe was seen in plain view in her purse.

She admitted to having methamphetamine hidden in her bra.

Carter was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail where she was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

 

Friday evening, Washington Township officers were on patrol on US Route 33 when they stopped Skybree Schindler, 41 of Bellefontaine for a marked lanes violation.

Officers noticed several signs of drug use while talking with Schindler.

She was asked to remove items from her pocket.

As Schindler was removing the items, officers saw a clear plastic bag showing from the inside her pants at the waistline.

She removed the bag and a pipe. The bag contained methamphetamine.

Schindler stated she put the items in her pants as she was getting pulled over to avoid officers finding them.

She was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail and charged with tampering with evidence and possession of drugs.
