The Logan County Chamber of Commerce is alerting members to a fraudulent solicitation effort by an individual claiming to represent the organization.
Multiple businesses have reported receiving calls from someone named Addy, who says she is with UAC Advertising and is seeking donations in exchange for advertising space on reusable bags, allegedly on behalf of the Chamber.
“We are not working with this company and they have no affiliation with our organization or any contract with us to provide advertising on our behalf,” the Chamber said in a statement.
They went on to say, “We strongly recommend declining their offer, especially after we reviewed their BBB profile.”

“Thank you for your membership!” the statement concluded.
