Champaign County Farmers Market Set to Open This Weekend

Are you looking to purchase local goods, from local vendors?

Head to the Champaign County Farmers’ Market, which opens this Saturday and remains open every Saturday until October from 9 AM to noon.

It is a seasonal street market that provides retail opportunities for farmers, food producers, and other handmade goods.

You can find the market behind the Urbana Fire Department at 127 E Market Street in Urbana.

This year’s vendors are:

  • Tidy Temptations, Breads and pretzels
  • Paxman Sewing, Cornhole bags, dog neckerchiefs, Ohio and American-themed handmade goods
  • Conley Sweets, Sweetbreads, hard and soft candy, and snack platters
  • Spring Fed Farms, Produce, and herbs
  • Highland Hills Apiary, Raw honey, and hot honey
  • Mcclain Munchies & Renew, Hawaiian Malasadas, sweet breads, cakes, muffins and handmade décor
  • Shady Acre Goods, Handmade pot holders, book sleeves, sourdough bread, and dipping mix
  • Billy’s Bacon and Brats, Whole hog sausage, brats, bacon, and butcher hogs
  • The Reusable Kitchen, Beeswax wraps, reusable paper towels, produce bags, and coasters
  • Dillon Family Handmade, Wood products, soap, candles, lotions, lip balm, and beard products
  • Ava’s Authentic Jewelry, Handmade jewelry & spoon rings. Second-hand clothing
  • Nightingale Monessori School Inc., Potted vegetables, fruits, and native plants grown by students
  • Sûr Gluten-Free Bakehouse, Gluten-free: cookies, cakes, brownies, donuts, breads, and more
  • Homestead By Hinton, Cottage goods such as jams, jellies, and granola mix along with veggies
  • Champaign County Master Gardeners, Potted and plugged starts of perennials and herbs
  • Blossom Hill Homestead, Fresh cut flowers, home décor, bird and butterfly houses, and planters
