The Champaign County Library will host a Local Author Book Fair on Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the library meeting room.
The free event will feature writers from Champaign County and surrounding communities, allowing visitors to meet local authors, discuss their work, and purchase signed copies of books. Light refreshments will also be available throughout the day.

Library officials said the event is designed to celebrate local literary talent as part of the statewide America 250-Ohio celebration. May’s featured theme for the initiative is “Ohio Creates: Arts, Culture, & Literature,” recognizing the state’s creative community and artistic contributions.
The event will take place at the Champaign County Main Library, located at 1060 Scioto Street in Urbana. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
