A Chillicothe man is facing charges after a traffic stop in Lakeview on Wednesday evening led to an OVI arrest.
Around 6:20 p.m., Washington Township officers stopped a vehicle on Stephenson Street near State Route 235 for a marked lanes violation and following another vehicle too closely.
30-year-old Christopher Aills showed several signs of impairment and admitted to officers that he had too much to drink.
Refusing to submit to field sobriety tests, he was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Once at the jail, Aills refused to take a breathalyzer test.
He was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI) and a marked lanes violation.
Aills was then released to a sober driver.
