Christmas Day arrest in Washington Township

Christmas day, shortly before 5:00 PM, Washington Township officers were on patrol on Main Street near Sunnyside Avenue when they stopped a vehicle driven by Jeffery Nicodemus, 63, of Greenville for a stop sign violation.

A passenger in the vehicle was Felecia Wilson, 62, of Piqua,

During the stop, officers noticed the smell of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Nicodemus admitted that the pair had recently consumed marijuana inside the car.

A search turned up two hydrocodone pills in Wilson’s purse.

Wilson admitted she did not have a prescription for the medication.

She was taken into custody, lodged in the Logan County Jail, and charged with possession of drugs.

Nicodemus was cited for driving under suspension.
