The holiday fun begins Thursday with an evening light parade at 6 p.m., followed by the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

The parade will begin at Emil Davis Park and travel through the village, ending at Lakeview Stokes Memorial Park.

Downtown food vendors will also be on site.

Saturday kicks off with Breakfast with Santa at the AMVETS from 8 to 9:30 a.m., followed by a scavenger hunt and gift giveaway at noon at the Lakeview Fire Department.

Families can also enjoy a petting zoo with free pony rides and Santa visits at the North Pole from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Santa’s Workshop at the Young at Heart Center offers additional opportunities to meet Santa:

  • Thursday: 3 to 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 3 to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to noon

Santa’s visits at the North Pole (beside Osgood Bank) continue on December 11 and December 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., giving children plenty of chances to share their holiday wishes.
