Mechanicsburg’s beloved holiday tradition, Christmas in the Village, returns on Saturday, December 13, 2025, bringing a full day of festive activities, local shopping, music, food, and community celebrations. Presented by Our Towne Mechanicsburg, this year’s event features expanded entertainment, more family activities, and the much-anticipated parade with Santa himself.

Events begin early in the morning and fill the village from end to end with holiday cheer.

The Library offers hands-on fun, storytelling, and a chance for kids to write letters straight to Santa.
Crafts, Vendors & Local Shopping
The popular Craft & Vendor Show runs from 10 AM to 3 PM at both the Fire House and the Masonic Lodge. This year features:
- Homemade craft makers
- Local artisans and vendors
- Creative Foundations
- Specialty gifts perfect for holiday shopping
Local businesses throughout downtown will also be set up with activities, including Darby Dental Smiles and the Public Library.
Food, Treats & Giveaways
Visitors can enjoy a variety of food trucks, plus food offerings provided by the local 4-H Group. Horse-drawn carriage fans can enjoy FREE rides from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, running between Village Hall and Heritage Country Store.

Parade at 2 PM — Featuring Santa on a Fire Truck
The Christmas in the Village Parade begins at 2 PM, with line-up starting at 1:30 PM at Heritage Country Store. The route continues through town and ends at the school.
Santa will make his grand entrance on a holiday float pulled by a fire truck.
