The City of Bellefontaine is reminding residents of adjustments to the municipal trash collection schedule in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
For the week of November 24–28, regular trash collection will occur as scheduled for Monday through Wednesday routes.
However, collections normally scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day.
Residents with Thursday routes should expect pick-up on Friday, November 28, while Friday routes will be collected on Saturday, November 29.
City officials encourage residents to place their trash at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on the revised collection day to ensure timely service.
