Following a trash audit conducted on Wednesday, the City of Bellefontaine has identified that several properties did not have their trash collected due to missing the required service sticker on their trash cans.
If your trash was scheduled for pickup on Wednesday but was not collected, it will be picked up on Thursday.
Residents are urged to contact the Utilities Department as soon as possible to obtain a service sticker and ensure it is affixed to the trash container prior to next week’s pickup.
This sticker confirms your active refuse account and helps ensure reliable service.
Failure to have the proper identification on your trash container may result in service delays.
