The City of Urbana says leaf pickup will resume tomorrow, November 12, and continue as weather permits through mid-December.
Residents are asked to rake leaves 12 to 18 inches into the street and keep piles at least six feet away from parked cars.
Sticks, brush, trash, and garden debris should not be mixed in with leaves, and piles should never cover storm drains.
The city also reminds homeowners that they can drop off leaves at the compost facility before pickup begins.
Any piles containing non-leaf materials will be left for the homeowner to remove.
The Public Works Team would like to thank residents for their cooperation.
